Extra-Curricular
There are a range of extra-curricular programs and school events at Salisbury Heights Primary to increase student engagement and build on the strengths of our students.
Choir
An annual choral education program with the SA Public Primary Schools Music Society. Students perform in the Festival of Music concert at the Adelaide Festival Theatre
Rock Band
Students in Years 5 and 6 have the opportunity to join the rock band, regardless of skill level. They work together to learn songs of their choice which they perform at various school events.
SAPSASA- South Australian Public Schools Amateur Sports Association
Students from Year 5 have the opportunity to participate in a range of sports and compete in carnivals and events with other schools.
Children’s University
Students collect evidence of their participation in extra-curricular activities throughout the year and are rewarded for their efforts through a graduation ceremony at Adelaide University at the end of the year.
